Sometimes you just have to put your camera away
On Saturday March 28th my oldest Daughter got married. It was a wonderful event, and I will never forget the excitement, happiness, joy and how proud I felt walking her down the isle.
As a photographer, the hardest thing to do was not pick up my camera. But I was the bride's father, and I wanted enjoy the moments that otherwise would have been spent trying to take my best photographs. There were after all two paid photographers and a videographer.
I did get my opportunity though for a few moments when the two photographers and videographer had just gone outside the venue. The shots I did take provided me with much joy.
As far as technical details, I had my Canon 5D Mark III, a 24-70mm lens, and a Rogue Flashbender on my flash to spread out the light.
