Back to back Photo Shoots
On Saturday August 23rd, in spite of heavy rain outside, I had back to back photo shoots at the Washington School of Photography Studio. Each shoot ran for about two hours. The models had a private changing room where they put on their different outfits for the white and black backgrounds.
Technical Aspects of the Shoot
For the shots with the black background, I had three mono lights. A main light, fill light, and hair light. For the shots with the white background, I had those same lights, with the addition of two mono lights pointing at the white background.
The lights were triggered from a transmitter I placed on my camera's hot shoe. I used my Canon 5D Mark III and 70-200 F2.8 lens for all the shots.
Both shoots went well, and the model's liked the photos I had taken.
