On Saturday July 26th, I and several other photographers from the camera club I belong to (Washington School of Photography Camera Club) https://wspcameraclub.shutterfly.com/ were invited to Battley's Motorcycle Shop in Gaithersburg, Maryland to take some shots of motorcycles' with models. I had the opportunity to shoot five models in the four hours I was there. The staff at Battley's were very friendly and accommodating, and it was an enjoyable day for me as well as the models.
Technical aspects of the shoot:
For lighting, I had a large ceiling to floor window on my left, and I used two Ezybox softboxes with Canon 580 EXII flashes. The filler light was 1/2 the power of the main light. I used a 70-200 f2.8 lens for most of the shots, and a 24-70 f2.8 for the others. The lights were triggered by a Phottix Odin transmitter along with a ODIN receiver in each softbox.
